[17:00:53] sunblaze and even those that do use thewm often use secondary drawers so that the main artist can still claim "I drew the manga myself" but meaning just scenes and figures

[17:02:20] SageSaga if independent creators are going to be able to make fully colored comics- you either need to be ok with getting a few pages a month, they need to work with a team, or they need to use tools that make it possible

[17:16:42] SageSaga like if i have a complex lighting scene- and i want to make sure my shadows are right- i would use it as a reference layer for most of my painting- or might even add to it- because it is pretty flat looking-

[17:17:10] SageSaga though- it does have options for gradients - i think with the right tweaks that might work really well for SOME drawnings
