[01:33:13] ThingsAreMoving From my point of view, I focused on learning my trade as well as possible to the point of surpassing people with more experience. I found myself sharing my tips and tricks very often and people being like 'wait you *can* do it like that?'

[01:35:07] ThingsAreMoving And at that point I was sure I'd get hired anywhere I chose within the industry. Left my previous job and secured another one after 30 min interview in a different company.

[01:36:35] ThingsAreMoving So if you find something you don't mind doing or even enjoy it... learn as much as you can and figure out tricks of the trade of your own. It makes massive difference during job interviews.

[01:38:51] ThingsAreMoving Nah, It's not easy, and it takes time. Took me 8 years to reach the level of 'lmao I can use my expertise to get hired everywhere'

[01:43:39] ThingsAreMoving I've worked at a petrol station as a basic drone (hated it), then I went for gas heating assembly, hand wet GRP in luxury yachts, laundry folding, bakery, desserts factory, rooflights factory, car brake assembly, warehouse pick/pack

[01:44:02] ThingsAreMoving and finally landed a spot in cut/crease in the packaging industry. And this is what clicked.
