[03:36:14] Dadrobit Kind of a horrifying character development for Reni tbh. Like, the way Tom has established souls as not just real, but tangible/interact able things in Mekkan is in general pretty terrifying when you think about it.
[03:38:01] Dadrobit I mean, the concept of a soul in most stories is supposed to be a comforting idea. That life is just the first part of the journey, and actions have consequences, good and bad even after death.
[03:38:48] Dadrobit But in Mekkan, we see souls being damaged, repaired, consumed, summoned, and here possibly even destroyed. And it's all being done by mortal powers.
[03:41:10] Dadrobit That's a genuinely terrifying concept. That someone else can not only murder you, but they can like, TURBO-MURDER you and your soul and there's nothing you could do to stop them really.
[03:46:20] Dadrobit I'm not saying I don't understand why she'd do it after what Clovis just did to her or that it's wrong. But if she is turbo-murering him here, It'll definitely be an adjustment on her character.
